The 2009 tailgating season is finally here!

**First a RECAP OF 2008 for some important insight**

See the party for yourself, The Food Network filmed part of the Deep Dish Pizza Throwdown between Mark Malnati and Bobby Flay with our Tailgate Party as the backdrop!

The 2009 season promises to be very exciting as well. We will only be hosting three regular season Tailgate Parties this year - - - Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Minnesota. Hopefully there will also be some post season Tailgating action!

I'm hoping to keep everyone updated on Twitter where you can follow me @BearsTailgating.

This season we will continue to have Cornhole Toss Tournaments at each party.
As always, we will be collecting beer & pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House and to help fight Cystic Fibrosis.

We have now hosted 1,000s of NFL fans and thrown well over 100 Tailgate Parties. Anyone that has ever been to one of our parties knows that we don't do this to make money. We do it because we love Tailgating, Bears Football and meeting football fans from around the world. For the first time in several years, we are changing our pricing. This will help us offset the increasing cost of food, liquor and supplies. We have decided to eliminate the repeat guest discount and the group discount rate. The cost for the 2009 season will be $25 per person. (non alcohol packages and kids 13-20 will stay at $12 per person. Kids 12 and under are still free)

Ron still has some Fork You Tailgating T-Shirts available. Send me an e-mail for information on styles and sizes available.

A large portion of our Parking Lot has been converted from Cash to Parking Passes. There may still be Cash Parking available, but I would expect those spots to sell out well before 4 hours prior to kickoff. A parking pass will guarantee you a parking spot. However, if our lot fills up.....they will have you park in a nearby parking garage. (you would then need to walk over to our lot) With the loss of the Michael Reese parking lots, there is even less parking available than past years. I will cover parking/transportation options in more detail in your confirmation e-mails.
